The website inevitably needed to cater for the showground’s clients’ customers. This can mean a lot of traffic is directed to their website that is simply looking for information on scheduled events. We cater for this audience first and foremost, funnelling them into a section of the website just for them – this leaves the rest of the experience to focus on their primary audience, Event Organisers.
We offer Event Organisers two ways to explore – by venue (if they know the showground well) or by event type (if they don’t). These pages were then strategically formed to offer the details an event organiser would need in order to prompt an enquiry. At this stage we also added a “hot pink” to the brand pallet to allow us to create buttons that really stood out against the rest of the design.
