Epix Premiere in Cannes

This month, we here at Epix Media were very proud to be a part of an exciting project with The Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP), which saw a film we produced for them being premiered in Cannes, France.

The GLLEP are an organisation devoted to promoting Greater Lincolnshire as an excellent location for development, investment and sustainable growth.  They concentrate on improving various sectors – including the renewable energy, manufacturing, and ports and logistics markets – in order to enhance Greater Lincolnshire’s economical success.

Our project with the LEP saw us travel across the county to capture varying examples of not only large, well established corporations who have chosen Greater Lincolnshire as their ideal location, but also newer companies who are using Lincolnshire to create innovative foundations for their business. Our experiences while filming were vast, as we were able to see first-hand the market-leading work of the production of turbines undertaken at Siemens , and the intricate, precise works of the production of semiconductors at Dynex in Lincoln. We were also witness to the successes of those who have invested in Grimsby, such as the leaders of the wind energy sector at the Port of Grimsby including E.ON and Dong, and the pioneering education of technical engineering taking place at CATCH. We also visited environmentally sustainable businesses, such as the Woodland Trust in Grantham.

The film was shown at MIPIM – an international property event that takes place in Cannes over four days. It’s the largest event of its kind, and annually hosts over 20,500 delegates from all over the globe. Thousands of budding investors and property developers were treated to an insight into what Greater Lincolnshire has to offer.

The list of the advantages of investing in Greater Lincolnshire is extensive, particularly when looking at those who have thrived from within the county over recent years. A variety of businesses are establishing bases within Lincolnshire for its great transport links, its ever-increasing importance within the renewable energy sector, and its flourishing local economy.

The project was incredibly enjoyable to work on; there’s a lot of fantastic work being done in Lincolnshire by some really innovative businesses, and we look forward to inviting many new companies and investors to the area.
