And the #EpixXmas charity donation goes to…

Thanks to everyone for sending us their fabulous bauble designs for the #EpixXmas tree! We had some amazing creations, from carefully laid out patterns to scenes of gingerbread families decorating their tree. A few got creative and wrote names with the mini-baubles, and our youngest entrant was just five years old!

But, we needed to choose a winner. After a lot of discussion in the Epix team we decided our favourite was this one by Rachael Hewitt (@RachaelLHewitt) from The Jon Egging Trust!

We loved how the charity’s logo has been recreated with gingerbread men and a single red bauble to symbolise Flt Lt Jon Egging, who sadly lost his life on the 20th August 2011 at an air display at the Bournemouth Air Festival whilst flying for the Red Arrows. The John Egging Trust now aims to help young people reach their full potential through their Blue Skies engagement programme where mentors guide them on life skills, leadership, teamwork, and on how to build self-confidence.
